The hall was festively decorated, the graduates were in evening dress and the mood was relaxed: THI celebrated its approximately 550 graduates of the winter semester 2023/24 in style. The graduation ceremony took place for the third time in the Congress Centre - and thus complemented the academic ceremony of the winter semester.

THI President Professor Walter Schober congratulated the graduates and said: ‘Congratulations on your graduation. Today you have reached an important milestone in your life. However, your personal development is far from over. Stay curious, remain open to new things, and have the courage to take unfamiliar paths. A world that is becoming ever more complex and challenging needs people like you who are creative and dare to innovate.’

The two THI students Dominic Bellmann and Jan Spitzer skilfully hosted the evening and the show programme. Traditionally, prizes were awarded for outstanding achievements: In addition to the best students of the year from the faculties, Simon Berger from the Electrical Engineering and Information Technology course was awarded for the best Bachelor's degree, and Christoph Krenauer from the Industrial Engineering and Management - Digitalisation continuing education course for the best Master's degree by the City of Ingolstadt. Julian Betge and Matthias Bank were honored for their outstanding theses. Marion Neumeier, an employee at CARISSMA, received the prize from the sponsors' association for her academic achievements.

The event was framed by the dance couple Valerie Hanse and Nikoloz Mujiri, multiple Bavarian champions in Latin American dances, with Samba, Rumba, and Cha-Cha-Cha. Oscar Kaufmann also performed a Cyr Wheel Show and as the Flying Gentleman. Kaufmann has already appeared on stage with Cirque du Soleil, among others, and impressed with his body control and elegance. The evening, which was organized with great commitment and creativity by the THI event management team led by Petra Quenzler, ended with DJs Klein und Gut.
